Dog Speak Author Sandy Blackburn and Jasmine

Welcome!

Well since this is my first attempt at "blogging" I decided to put my published articles for my local newspaper in it. The Neighbor is a Fountain county Indiana newspaper and I luckily have a column all my own called "Dog Speak" that is in every other week. My column is about pets, their care, and everything you can think of related to pets. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes sad, and I try to be informative.
It's located in the opinion section of the newspaper so it's nice that I get to say what I want and not have to apologize! Life is good!

About Me

Sandy Blackburn: Attica, IN, United States; I'm a mother of two boys, Drew and Lane ages 12 and 9, and married for the past 21 years to Tim Blackburn who is a volunteer firefighter (his heart job) and he builds Subaru's to bring home the bacon. I've groomed dogs for the past 12 years and compete occasionally in creative grooming contests. I do pet photography, people training and pet rehabilitation (like Cesar), and I am now an author of "The EVERYTHING Dog Grooming Book" available in book stores and online. I've recently began homeschooling my boys so busy doesn't even BEGIN to describe my life.
